Who we are
Call Pulse is a business call-tracking and CRM service operated by Appsymmetrix Technology Private Limited ("we", "us"). It is used by businesses ("your organization") to manage their telecalling teams. If you use Call Pulse as an employee, your organization is the controller of your data and decides how it is used; we process it on their behalf.
Information we collect
- Account details — name, email, mobile number, role, and a securely hashed password.
- Call log data — for telecaller accounts, the app reads your device call log to record the phone number called, call direction (incoming/outgoing/missed), timestamp, duration, and the device-stored contact name. This is the core feature that lets your organization track call activity.
- Call recordings — only if you or your organization choose to attach a recording your dialer already saved on the device. We never record calls ourselves.
- App-usage data — for telecaller accounts that grant Usage Access, per-app foreground time (the same metric Android "Digital Wellbeing" shows). We never see message or content within other apps.
- Device information — model, OS version, and app version, to support sync.
- CRM content — leads, notes, dispositions, and tasks you enter.
Permissions and why we use them
- Call logs & phone state — to detect when a call ends and record call activity for the CRM.
- Phone (place calls) — to let you dial a lead from within the app.
- Usage access — optional; to show your organization per-app foreground time.
- Display over other apps — to show the quick post-call note popup after a call.
- Media/audio & storage — to attach a call recording you choose.
- Notifications, run in background, run at startup — to sync reliably.
You can revoke any permission in Android Settings; related features will stop working.
How we use information
To provide call tracking, CRM, analytics, and reporting to your organization; to operate, secure, and support the service; and to process subscription billing. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Sharing
- Your organization — administrators and managers in your organization can see the call, CRM, and usage data described above.
- Service providers — hosting/infrastructure and our payment processor (Razorpay) for subscriptions, under data-protection terms.
- Legal — where required by law.
Data retention
We keep data for as long as your organization maintains an active account, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access is restricted by role within each organization.
Your rights and data deletion
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. See our data deletion page for how to request account and data deletion.
Children
Call Pulse is a workplace tool and is not directed to children under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the effective date above when we do.
